What is BhamText?
BhamText is a FREE opt in/out mobile SMS service that allows you to stay connected to the Haps in your city. Simply text BHAM to 839863 to see how it works.
What do we do?
It all starts with you. After you submit your preference list, we will send you text updates relevant to your preferences. You want to know, so we keep you updated. It is that simple.
How many texts will I receive?
That’s based on the preferences you define. We don’t allow for anymore than 2 text alerts per month from any one list you subscribe to.
I want to add and drop a category or two. How do I update my preferences?
It's simple. Visit our sign-up page and click on the “Update Preferences” link at the bottom. You will then be prompted to enter you phone number in and will be sent a confirmation code. You then use this code like a password to access and update your preference list.
Is there SPAM involved?
No way Jose! Not only are we the developers of this service, but also we are users. Unless Chuck Norris or Jack Bauer decides to “run the company” your cell number will be safe in our little black book.
What does it cost?
Outside of standard text messaging rates, the service is free. Other charges may apply depending on your carrier and phone plan.
